| European Tour Just Posted |
| Mon, Aug. 27 2007 |
| I'm happy to announce that I'll be heading back to Europe with my good buddy Joseph Parsons for a duo tour in October/November. We had great time last Fall when I toured with Joseph and his band. This time we'll be stripping things down to just the guitars and vocals and rather than separate sets we'll be playing the entire show together. I'm really looking forward to this tour. Hope to see you at the shows.
Also, locally in the Boston area, I've just posted a couple of upcoming acoustic shows with Sean Staples. Both are at Toad in Cambridge. Haven't been back there in a while (which feels a bit strange!) so I'm really looking forward to the gigs. Hope you can make it.
Best,
Todd |

| NCAA Women's College Softball World Series Theme Song |
| Tue, Jun. 13 2006 |
| Recently I was asked by ESPN to write and produce a theme song for the NCAA WCSWS, much like I had previously for the men's college baseball world series (Back Home In Omaha). The new song is entitled "This Is Our Time" and aired on ESPN & ESPN2 during their coverage of the series. We recorded a few different versions of the tune: a female lead vocal by the very talented Sarah Borges, a male lead vocal by yours truly, and acoustic versions as well. I had some great musicians playing on the track (old band mates of mine!) Milt Sutton on drums, Jeff St.Pierre on bass, and Thomas Juliano on guitar. We had a blast on the sessions.
I've been both pleased and surprised at the response to the song by players, fans, coaches, and family members of the athletes. I've had many requests to make the song available for purchase and am now working on making that happen. The goal is to make each version available either as an individual download (much like iTunes) or as a complete CD "single" which will include four versions of the song: Sarah's rock and acoustic versions and my rock and acoustic versions. We're hoping to have at least the downloads available this week. Please check back for details. If you have any questions feel free to email me at: toddmail99@aol.com
Thanks so much to those of you who have sent such nice emails to me regarding the song. I really appreciate it.
Also: CONGRATULATIONS! To the Arizona Wildcats on winning this years series! Way to go! |

| TODD INKS DEAL WITH 95 NORTH RECORDS |
| Tue, May. 3 2005 |
| Todd Thibaud joins forces with 95North records for the release of 'Northern Skies'.
" I've been a fan of Todd Thibaud since his days with The Courage Brothers in the early 1990's, it's an honor and a pleasure to have him as part of the 95North family" said label president Bill Hurley.
Todd's newest release "Northern Skies" is set for a March 29th release date and is already creating a stir at AAA radio.
A collection of original songs that speak of love, loss, rebirth and reckoning in a soulful yet powerful voice . The band, churns out a host of sounds that draw out aural reckonings of the Rolling Stones or E Street band visiting every color of the Rock and Roll spectrum. |

| UPDATE FROM TODD |
| Tue, May. 3 2005 |
Hi Everyone,
I'm happy to report that after a long time and a lot of work we've finally worked things out with Tone Cool Records and I'm now free to move on from my contract with them. This change will mean a few things. First, I'm now able to release my new record, "Northern Skies" here in the U.S. To that end, I'm pleased to announce that I've entered into a deal with 95 North Records to handle the production, distribution and promotion of that release. They're a fairly young label that focuses on Americana and roots rock acts, which makes me feel very at home on their roster. The record will be released on April 5th and has already started to make the rounds at radio. The first single is a song called Three Words, so tune in and dont be afraid to call your local DJs. Thanks!
This will also mean that I'll be doing some touring again to support the release...yes that's right touring. I'm really looking forward to getting back to some cities I haven't been to in awhile. Not sure where I'll be headed yet but dates will be posted as soon as they are confirmed.
Where will these dates be posted you might ask? Well, I believe its past time for my long suffering and out of date website to undergo a much needed redesign and rejuvenation. It was very difficult over the past couple of years while I was working things out with Tone Cool. In many ways I was in limbo during that period and really had nothing new to report. As a result the poor website just sat there. Now that I have a bit of a fresh start with a new record, a new band, and a new label to work with, I think its time to give the site a fresh start as well. We're working to launch the new website as close to the release of "Northern Skies" as we can.
And finally (at least for now) in addition to being able to release "Northern Skies", I'm now able to resurrect the "Lost Dogs" CD we were putting together of unreleased songs, B-Sides, and rarities. Only problem is that I'll now have to come up with a new title, since Pearl Jam used "Lost Dogs" for their own release of a similar nature. Ive already had some great suggestions from some fans for alternate titles. If you have any others let me know.
The message board will be down until the new site is launched so if youd like to get in touch with me or have a question please email me at: toddmail99@aol.com
I guess that's all for now. Hope you're all doing well. Thanks for your continued support.
Take Care,
Todd |
